All UID implantable programmable laboratory animal transponders for animal research are compatible with the URH 1 handheld reader and programming station. They are perfect for all laboratory animals from mice to horses. Each transponder is supplied in a sterilized triple ground cannula for easy insertion and is individually packaged and sterilized for convenient use. For non-sterile or bulk purchase, contact UID for pricing and options. The UID Programmable transponders can be programmed either in the sterile cannula or after implantation in the animal without fear of loosing your programmed data. Mouse Programmable Transponder

Sterile 1.4mm x 8.5mm transponder suitable for mice and other small animals is the smallest ID glass Programmable Transponder on the market with encryption. They are supplied with a unique non repeating alpha-numeric number that can be programmed using the UPS-60 Chip Provisioning Station. This transponder comes in a cannula for use with the UID injectors. For research applications only. Not for Pet use.

Implantable Transponder

Sterile 2.1mm x 12mm implantable transponder is suitable for rodents and larger animals. The UID encrypted tag provides secure identification for all species. The most common size transponder used in almost all animals. Each transponder is supplied with a unique non repeating alpha-numeric number that can be programmed using the UPS-60 Chip Provisioning Station. Comes in a cannula and is for use with the UID injectors. Compatible with the PI Suite for Identification Process Control. For laboratory research use only. Temperature Microchips

UID has changed how researchers look at temperatures in animals. Using UID’s proven technology researchers are now able to record core body temperatures cost effetely using the UCT-2112 Temperature Microchip. With increased read ranges and accuracy being ±0.1°C, we can now provide core body temperatures with an IP implanted microchips. Using the URH-300HP handheld or UBS-200 readers, reading 6-10” away for the temperature is now an affordable option for researchers. Don’t settle for inaccurate subcuticular temperatures in rodents and large animals. Use the UID Temperature Microchip for accurate core body temperatures. No special readers required!

Transponder Programmer

UID scientists have been worked in laboratories and understand the challenges of programming multiple transponders. UID offers two solutions to have your unique number set programmed on the transponders. The first is to let us do it for you. Simply download the Excel table and send it back to us and we will send you the pre-programmed chips with your specific numbering sequence. The second is to purchase our multi-transponder programmer station, the UPS-60. It allows the researcher to program up to 6 chips at a time with their unique number sequence in multiple succession. All UID Chips for Researcher are compatible with the UPS-60 Provisioning station.
